Proposed Bicycle Harassment Ordinance - Public Hearing
An ordinance to directly outlaw the harassment of bicyclists is currently being introduced to Columbia City Council through the efforts of PedNet, and will be in council for public comment at the next city council meeting Monday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.

The entire state of colorado just passed something similar... While I lived in Columbia the actual town was not a problem... riding to Harrisburg or Easley was... need an entire state or at least county law on it.
Glad to hear you did not experience much of a problem in town. But after listening to 19 citizens share stories and comments of harassment or injuries at tonight's city council meeting the need has unfortunately come. Hopefully someday there will be similar laws state wide. Good to know Colorado has done that.
